About Toastique Navy Yard

Toastique Navy Yard DC – Health Food Restaurant, Cafe and Coffee Shop

If you've walked around 4th Street SE lately, you've probably noticed the neighborhood has a lot going on. Nationals Park is right down the block. The Yards Park and its riverfront boardwalk are a quick stroll away. There's VIDA Fitness and Solidcore around the corner. And somewhere in between all of that, there's Toastique.

We make gourmet toasts, smoothies, acai bowls, cold-pressed juices, and really good coffee. Nothing complicated. Just fresh ingredients put together the right way. The kind of food that works whether you're running to catch the Metro, cooling down after a workout, or killing time before a Nats game.

A lot of our regulars live in Capitol Riverfront or work nearby. We also get visitors heading to Audi Field for DC United matches, families walking over from the dancing fountains at The Yards, and honestly, a fair number of people who just Googled "nearest place to get smoothies" and ended up here. All good with us. The Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro stop is close, parking isn't a nightmare, and we're happy to be part of the neighborhood.

Our Juice Bar and Acai Bowl Shop

Every juice here gets cold-pressed and bottled in glass. Recharge for something citrus-forward, Detoxify for greens, Radiance for that carrot-ginger kick. Wellness shots like Immunity and Booster are there when you need something quick. The smoothie bowls are what people come back for. Acai Smoothie Bowl with blueberries and banana on top. PB+B with peanut butter drizzle and granola. Matcha Bowl if earthy is more your thing. People grab these before heading to the ballpark or after a run along the Anacostia Riverwalk.

A Cafe That Takes Toast Seriously

At most places, toast shows up as a side dish. Here it's the main event. Ours come out on wooden boards, layered and arranged like composed plates. Avocado Smash topped with watermelon radish and a scattering of microgreens. PB Crunch with banana, strawberries, blueberries on top. Smoked Salmon with cucumber and lemon. Tomato Burrata if you're craving something richer. Spicy Crab for heat. Each one gets assembled when you order. People tend to pause before eating, which we take as a good sign.

A Coffee Shop and Espresso Bar Built Around Your Order

Full espresso bar. Americano, latte, cappuccino, cortado, flat white, cafe au lait. Nitro cold brew on tap. Collagen lattes in a few flavors if you want to try something different. Oat milk, almond, coconut available. Coffee is smooth and consistent, which matters when you're grabbing one before work at the Department of Transportation building or stopping in after a morning workout. Some people sit by the window and watch the waterfront. Others are out the door in two minutes. Both work.

Start Your Morning With Breakfast That Fuels

Mornings in Navy Yard have their own rhythm. Residents heading to offices, people finishing runs along the river, visitors checking into hotels before exploring the city. Our breakfast menu works for all of it. Matcha Bowl or Cocolada Bowl if light is what you're after. Avocado Smash or Tomato Burrata toast when you need more. Green Machine smoothie if you're in a rush. Add a cortado or cold brew and you're set. Eat here or take it with you.

Brunch That Happens Every Day

Brunch runs daily here, not just on weekends. Walk in on a Thursday after exploring Yards Park and you'll find the same menu. PB Crunch toast with strawberry and banana. Acai Smoothie Bowl in that bright pink with fresh fruit layered on top. 3 Cheese Italian if savory sounds better. No host stand, no reservations. Order at the counter, grab a spot, and enjoy something good. Come with friends or come solo.

Lunch That's Quick But Actually Good

Lunch around here usually means fitting something in before a game, between meetings, or after wandering through the neighborhood. We get that. Toasts fill you up without slowing you down. Smoked Salmon and an Orange Crush smoothie. Mango Tango Bowl if fresh sounds good. Packaged options ready if you're really pressed for time. People walk over from nearby offices, stop in before heading to Nationals Park, duck in after checking out Bluejacket or District Winery. Eat, feel good, keep moving.

Find Us In Navy Yard

We're at 1331 4th Street SE, in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood along the Anacostia waterfront. Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro on the Green Line is a few blocks away. Nationals Park, Yards Park, and The Yards are all within walking distance. Street parking and garage options are nearby.

Stop by whenever. Before a game, after a workout, on your lunch break. Something fresh is always ready.

Catering

Hosting a team meeting? Planning an office celebration? We cater, too. Toast platters, smoothie bowls, fresh juices, stuff people will actually eat instead of picking at. Works for office meetings, team lunches, whatever you've got going on. Just give us 48 hours' heads up so we can prep everything.
