About Toastique Union Market
Toastique Union Market DC – Health Food Restaurant, Cafe and Coffee Shop
Located in Northeast DC Toastique Union Market is a cafe serving the freshest gourmet toasts, smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, coffee, and espresso. We make everything fresh with responsibly sourced ingredients. Grabbing breakfast before class at Gallaudet? Refueling after Orangetheory? Meeting friends on a Saturday? This is a solid spot for all of it.
We're in the Union Market District, right off New York Avenue. This is actually the first Toastique to serve cocktails, so you can start with an acai bowl and end with something stronger if the afternoon takes you there. La Cosecha is steps away, NoMa-Gallaudet Metro is close, and parking's easy with street spots and the La Cosecha garage.
Our Juice Bar and Acai Bowl Shop
Our juices are cold-pressed and come in glass bottles. Recharge is citrus-forward, Detoxify is all greens, Radiance has that carrot-ginger kick. We also have wellness shots like Immunity and Booster for when you're in a rush. The smoothie bowls get a lot of attention. People pull out their phones before they even take a bite. Acai Smoothie Bowl comes with blueberries and banana. PB+B has peanut butter drizzle and granola. Matcha Bowl if you're into something earthy.
A Cafe That Takes Toast Seriously
At most places, toast is an afterthought. Here it's the whole point. Ours come out on wooden boards, layered and arranged like real dishes. Avocado Smash has watermelon radish and microgreens. PB Crunch comes with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries on top. Smoked Salmon gets cucumber and lemon. Tomato Burrata for something richer. Spicy Crab if you want heat. Each one is made when you order it, and people tend to just stare at them for a second before digging in.
A Coffee Shop Built Around Your Order
Full espresso bar. Americano, latte, cappuccino, cortado, flat white, cafe au lait. Nitro cold brew on tap. Collagen lattes in a few flavors if you want to try something different. Oat milk, almond, coconut available. The coffee is smooth and tastes the same every time, which matters when this is your regular morning stop. Some people hang out and watch the Union Market crowd. Others are out the door in two minutes. Either way.
Start Your Morning With Breakfast That Fuels
Mornings in this part of DC have their own rhythm. Students heading to Gallaudet, people commuting through NoMa, early workout crowd finishing up at Orangetheory. Breakfast fits into all of that. Matcha Bowl or Cocolada Bowl if you want something light. Avocado Smash or Tomato Burrata toast when you need more. Green Machine smoothie if you're rushing to catch the Red Line. Throw in a cortado or cold brew and you're good. Sit down or take it with you.
Brunch That Happens Every Day
Brunch runs daily here, not just weekends. Walk in on a Tuesday after browsing La Cosecha and you'll find the same menu. PB Crunch toast with strawberry and banana. Acai Smoothie Bowl in that bright pink with fruit layered on top. 3 Cheese Italian if savory sounds better. And since we serve cocktails, you can add a mimosa or craft drink if you're in that kind of mood. Nobody's taking your name, nobody's making you wait outside. Just order at the counter and find a spot.
Lunch That's Quick But Actually Good
Lunch around here usually means squeezing something in between everything else. We get that. Toasts are filling but not heavy. Smoked Salmon and an Orange Crush smoothie. Mango Tango Bowl when you want something fresh. Grab-and-go stuff if you really can't sit. People swing by between shops at Union Market, stop in after checking out the food hall vendors, duck in before heading to H Street. Eat, feel good, keep going.
Find Us In Union Market District
We're at 325 Morse Street NE in the Union Market District. NoMa-Gallaudet Metro on the Red Line is a short walk. Street parking works most of the time, and the La Cosecha garage is right there if you need it. Just off New York Avenue, so pretty easy to reach from most of Northeast DC.
Stop by whenever. Before class, after a workout, between errands. We'll have something fresh ready.
Catering
Planning something? We cater. Toastique Union Market caters for events. The catering menu has the same items from the café: gourmet toasts, açaí bowls, smoothies, and cold-pressed juices. Orders need a 48-hour notice so the team can prep everything fresh.
